AFTER THE BELL - Macrovision pares losses
NEW YORK, Oct 30 (Reuters) - The shares of technology provider Macrovision Corp. (NasdaqNM:MVSN - news) regained some losses in after-hours trading on Monday after the technology provider reported surging quarterly earnings.

But the uptick was not enough to reverse the day's fall, as troubled technology stocks fell while wary investors scooped up shares of old-line companies with steady earnings.
