RR, Volt, isn't this what everyone was saying back in April and May too? It is six months from that time frame and I think most people are worse off today then they were six months ago.

As for myself I have managed to stay about even since that time but have seen dramatic ups and downs in net worth which makes today feel even worse than six months ago since I wasn't able to protect the gains after making back most of the early year losses.

It's great to be the eternal optimist and think that it will always get better, and I'm sure it will...I think.

Everyone is now looking to get past October but what if the market (I should say Naz since the Dow is sailing now) doesn't get better? Then it's the election hanging overhead but what if the market doesn't get better after the election? Then it's the seasonality thing and what if no Santa Clause rally?

I know I sound like a pessimist right now but I'm just trying to prepare myself for a long winter since this has been the worst month ever.

I have always been an optimist and never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd be at these levels today...I just hope I'm not saying this six months from now.
