I received a nice e-mail from Dr. Danny Lange not long ago, after I inquired about how this years ASA/MA conference went. inf.ethz.ch I'm sure you remember that he chaired the conference last year that General Magic helped host... genmagic.com Well, unfortunately he did not attend as he was busy with other commitments... cs.ncl.ac.uk He did mention though that the entire agent field continues to move forward, and General Magic continues to leverage developments. Also, from Dr. Lange...did you notice that Aglets has become an Open Source project? aglets.org Just thought I'd pass this stuff on. Hope all is well. Best Regards, John p.s. I remember last year Dr. Lange mentioned to me that General Magic's Chair at the ASA/MA conference played an important role for them in the industry. As some of the leading participants and minds in the field changed jobs, this exposure helped keep GMGC in the fore front for attracting the very best people. I can't help but think that as LHSP continues to self-destruct, some of their people will be looking at GMGC...
