Qualcomm (QCOM-$75-O) CDMA Update; Reiterate Outperform Louis Gerhardy The recent CDMA conference highlighted the increased role of QCOM's wireless CDMA technology in next generation wireless networks. We believe QCOM is poised for the 1X product cycle. The implementation plans of wireless service providers with 1X are stronger than we expected. We believe QCOM has a comprehensive semiconductor roadmap, including new 1X products and WCDMA efforts. We reiterate our Outperform rating and 12-month price target of $100. QCOM will report F4Q00 earnings on 11/2. We look for EPS of $0.23.
