Beautiful, just ordered the rhizomes...thanks. Pacific Farms is, I believe, the only place in the U.S. to grow true Wasabi. It's a very interesting story. In Japan, it is only grown in a very small area of one of the prefectures and it is, of course, steeped in tradition and respect. The Japanese could not believe this Oregonian was growing a reasonable facsimile of their real wasabe and spent years trying to stop it from being imported to Japan. His security is state-of-the-art to keep spies (truly!!!) out. Great story...multi, multi million dollar business off that little root. Thanks again. -dave
