Tenchusatsu, Re: Personally, I'd give credit where credit is due, to the K7 design and validation team and to the key engineers like Dirk Meyer and Fred Weber.

You bet! Those guys are GREAT! I've got a lot of respect for these fine creative minds that work the "magic" and make it happen.

Re: Without those guys, Jerry Sanders would still look like a washed-up CEO.

Now why do you suppose those fellows choose to work for Jerry sanders? What's the attraction? They could go anywhere couldn't they?. Why do they work for AMD?

As for Jerry Sanders looking like a "washed-up" CEO, I'll have to disagree with you there. Perhaps you're thinking of the CEO that got his company involved with Rambus and made a real mess of things for his outfit. I heard this fellow had a virtual monopoly in his industry when he took the helm and now Jerry Sanders and company is "coming through the walls" of the crumbling castle. Talk about looking like a "washed-up CEO"!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
