By: WALLSTREETGUYS $$$ Reply To: None Monday, 30 Oct 2000 at 9:36 PM EST Post # of 16763 Read this Everyone Just got back from NYC unveiling... by: stock_god_2000 10/30/00 9:30 pm Msg: 84110 of 84112 no BS: i went tonight (although i was standing becuase it really was crowded--at least 400 people there easily)lots of spotlights and TVs flat screens everywhere. media coverage was substantial. very impressive professional presentations after 5:20 pm est. some segments were very general, but the importance was getting adsx name out (which they definately did) and sullivan reiterated and showed marketing research data that backed up a $70 billion market potential for ##. this got many analysts attention and i even hurd gasps in the crowd! i was there as a former analyst for DLJ. at the time we did not touch adsx cause it was "spread to thin", but i've always like management so i do own quite a bit. i used to talk to bob jackson on a monthly basis. DLJ was represented by at least 2 analysts this evening, but most were from prudential, S.S.B and bank of america. in my opinion, the prototype was impressive. contrary to rumors-there WAS a working prototype--it just wasnt put into a PRODUCT yet. sullivan and the asian scientist said that could take up to 6 months to test and complete. the atmosphere was very positive and to my surprise many people were running their mouths about privacy issues. i cut out early to beat traffic-the event is probably still going on with food that was set up. the bottom line is tis was pretty big, as big goes for a prototype launch. i havent seen much bigger or better. i really do think adsx has something--worst case (or maybe best) is adsx or ## will be bought out buy a much larger company without huge market cap. by the way, prudential is accumulating shares big time-i would suspect they will inititate coverage as oon as they get rid of intellisale. ps: im not hyping or BSing-feel free to email me at this email address anytime about my past. my name (if you email me privately) will come up on prior dlj analyst coverage stocks when i worked there. im just trying to give a fair depiction of whats really going on.
