Jim even from what you selected it does not look good for intel intel admits that rambus was a mistake but sticks with it no matter what and even offers rebates? 40%? Performance on par with pIII at the same clock speed iplies improvement of far less than 40%. 20% is more reasonable number.... That particular point can blow away alright, only not athlon but intel amd is selling everything they can make and yet pc market is not as strong as it was expected? Well, maybe not for intel chips :-)) Fixed cost and larger die size? I thought that just few months back intel was not able to meet demand and now it cutting unit production?
