Aquatic Cellulose (OTCBB: AQCI), shipped $130,000 worth of ecological lumber from Brazil to the U.S. for immediate distribution. “We have arranged to meet with several large buyers upon receiving shipment, and we anticipate much, if not all of this inventory being sold by the end of our current quarter,” stated Gary Ackles, CEO of Aquatic. AQCI fell 12 percent on 1.1 million shares.

Startech Environmental Corp., (OTCBB: STHK) has met the requirements for trading on the NASDAQ SmallCap Market. It will continue to trade on the OTCBB until the close of business on Wednesday, November 1, 2000 and than commence trading on the NASDAQ SmallCap Market on Thursday, November 2, 2000 under the symbol STHK. STHK gained 13 percent on 133,000 in volume.

Texfi Industries Inc., (OTC Pink Sheets: TXFI) arranged a new revolving working capital financing in the amount of $25,000,000. The financing is for one year and requires the company to submit a reorganization plan by April 2001. Texfi filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Act in the Southern District of New York on February 15, 2000, and has been operating as Debtor-in-Possession since that date. The company expects to submit its reorganization plan ahead of schedule in 2001. TXFI remained flat for the day on zero volume.

STOCKS TO WATCH

Talk Visual Corp., (OTCBB: TVCP) rallies 35 percent on 1.1 million in volume.

VIPC Communications Inc., (OTCBB: VPCM) declines sharply by 68 percent on nearly 1 million in volume.

Wall Street Financial Corp., (OTCBB: WSFI) fell 4 percent on light volume. Rumors are circulating about good news due out this week.

TRADERS CHAT

While the NASDAQ didn’t rally today, traders continue to be confident that we reached the bottom last week. The DOW put on an impressive performance today. Traders are hopeful the NASDAQ will follow suit tomorrow, and the OTCBB soon to follow that.

MARKET BRIEFING

The most active twenty list was undeniably negative for the day. Fourteen issues closed down, while eight of those lost more than 10 percent. Five issues managed to post gains, two higher by more than 10 percent, one issue remained unchanged for the day.
