JRI - How do the following stocks look "technically"?:-

SSTI
SDLI
JDSU
MSFT
INTC
CIEN

Personally I don't think the lack of buying is "technical" at all. I happen to think that it arises from a number of causes the single and most important of which is that we are in the middle of the worst NAZ crash since 1974 and further more it is showing all the signs of getting far worse.

As a result of that the stock whilst it never quite made it on the radar screens of the braod mass of fund managers has now appeared quite brightly on the radar screens of the shorts.

There has been some talk on our thread of late concerning odd increases in certain figures being indicative of problems, well there is one figure that really is a problem and that is an increase in short interest which SNDK sadly now has. For this to have coincided with the best earnings announcement SNDK has ever had is indicative of the tenacity of these limpets. They won't let go till they get scared and they have no reason in sight for fear for what looks like years to come with Mr Greenspans firm hands around the NASDAQs throat.

SNDK is suffering as are many great high tech companies by this stictest of interest rate policies. It is ironic to think that the NAZ, the very heart of the process of productivity increase which gave rise to the Goldilocks economy is being squeezed out by the man who said more than once that he didn't understand fully the process by which all this productivity was happening.

Best regards,

L
