Hi Keith,
It is interesting, should have been done a long time ago. That's the reason I have gotten out of all MFs except for index funds. They have very little in the way of Capital gains at the end of the year. There will be quite a few folks this year who will have lost money on their funds, but still have to pay Uncle Sam for capital GAINS.
Not too long ago 20th Century Ultra declared a gain of 10%. 30k in the fund would have eaten up the 3000 they're talking about.
