If its a rumor, then several million people heard it on CNBC and acted on it. Not to mention the Emulex hoax a couple of months ago. I'm not a Rambus shareholder, but I do own shares of royalty play Emulex in the HBA FC/GE market. It was not a pleasant experience as the bogus news report hit. The eventual handling of the event by CNBC was some of the finest reporting and coverage I had ever seen. I haven't heard the Rambus 'rumor' as I'm carving a pumpkin at the moment. Well, the kids are doing it, I'm just cleaning up what lands on the floor. Was the report legally obtained in terms of the Intel roadmap? BB
