JDN, maybe the reason I pick on Sun is because I'm basically a hardware guy, and their hardware sucks. That is both from a price/performance and reliability point of view. What else is there? Solaris may be very robust as an OS. I think that's what keeps Sun going. The amazingly well kept secret, however, is that Windows 2000 is looking very, very good as an enterprise OS. It will take time for a lot of IM/IT people to realize this, just as it took a lot of time for people to become comfortable buying non-IBM (like Sun!). The Intel based servers are selling like wildfire, and soon, W2K will join. Just a matter of time, IMO, enjoy it while it lasts.

Why dont you just buy some SUNW and make money with the rest of us??

How could I knowing their hardware sucks? I don't have any such problem with the other big cap tech stocks I've bought. You can't win them all.

Tony
