Hi Clappy: How ya doing, Champ? Been awhile. CASH... you mentioned cash in your post so I wanted to reply briefly as I think you have brought up a very good point.

Yes, I do keep cash on hand. While I am the ultimate bull, I keep a considerable portion of my assets in cash.

In my end of week holdings report, I don't usual list my cash position. I'll sometimes answer a PM about it. But, cash is usually my third largest position. So, yes, I try to have cash on hand in this market. Last year was different as I stayed almost fully invested.

Also, remember I only do options, and tend to churn portions of my positions, and I don't mean day trading. I'm talking about frequently, sometimes weekly, taking small profits over and over and over again. Consequently, that will result in me having cash on hand.

Furthermore, and again, even though I am the ultimate bull, I think it is wise to enter plays slowly. I say, buy a little here, a little there, it doesn't have to be all at once. There will be plenty of time to catch a trend on reversal. Patience. So, I may not spend it all at once even though I'm bullish as can be.

That's my view. You made some very good points in your post. Thanks.

Have a great day!

Rick
