OT for Jim Chellis regarding E*Trade

Hi Jim,

If I may say so, I was with E*Trade for about 5 years. It was the worst investing experience of my life. Everyone that I have ever known (friends, associates, acquaintances) who used E*Trade, have stated similar observations. They are crooks and very unethical. Their customer service is nonexistent, rude, and obnoxious.

I switched directly to ProFunds this past summer and I've had a very good experience with them thus far. I have NEVER had a single flawed transaction or significant problem with ProFunds. When I make money on an exchange (trade), ProFunds expediently credits my account in a complete, appropriate, accurate way. I don't have to call and spend hours battling with some low level associate following each successful trade in order to have my money credited to my account.

If I ever decide to trade regular stocks and options again, instead of indexes, I would probably choose Schwab.

In summary, I greatly fear entrusting even a penny of my money to E*Trade.

I apologize if I overstated my position, I was just responding to your post.

Best Regards,
John in Iceland
