Hi Bull RidaH; So what have you to say about my trading call on RMBS this morning?
Bilow 9:47 AM: I have to suspect that buying now, at $40 per share, is a great idea for a day trade. So bussers! Load up those pickup trucks! Buy some shares now!!!
No, I'm not being sarcastic, this is not a joke post. Stocks that tumble on open very frequently turn around at about 20 to 40 minutes after market open. [i.e. 9:50 to 10:10am] It is time to buy RMBS for the DCB. #reply-14693607
Bilow 10:13 AM: But it should be good for a DCB between now and noon. #reply-14693863
You didn't see a lot of bulls calling the DCB this morning, did you? Instead, they are still calling RMBS a long term buy and hold.
By way of comparison here's your post:
Bull RidaH 9:56 AM: Trading below 46 has opened the door to further downside. I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole now til after Thanksgiving. #reply-14693692
You were saying "wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole" while I was saying "buy". Now it's trading at $45. Pretty sweet little day trade I called there, eh? Are you really a trader, or are you just another long term buy and hold type investor?
I don't mean to denigrate your trading abilities by this comparison. There are thousands of stocks on the Nasdaq, and there are hundreds of successful trading techniques. You're probably a great long term trader, but you still haven't given me the stop loss value for your RMBS trade. Are you still holding? "5th wave up off to a Grrrreeat start!" Now in a bit of hope mode? This morning you said you wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole till after Thanksgiving. Explain?
I tend to trade the stocks that are the most active, so I know what DCBs look like. Zeev, on the other hand, tends to watch a limited number of stocks, and plays them over longer term. This is all okay. But I have put up with people calling me a lousy trader on this thread for most of a year. I hope this series of posts puts an end to it, if it doesn't I'm going to be asking where all the bulls were this morning when they should have been posting what a great bargain that was there for the asking.
