Rambus will be in some boxes but Intel is going to embrace double data rate memory, synchronous memory and next generation memory being developed by an industry consortium. o We also believe that moving away from Rambus is good news for Intel. The company has had concerns about the impact that Rambus availability would have on the ramp for P4. We believe, in the future, that royalty based memory models are not going to work. (J. Osha)
