Al, the Rambus thread can be great fun, if you don't take it seriously. You got to be able to laugh off threats of legal action for saying anything bad about the scambus operation, though. The longs seem to have drunk massive quantities of kool-aid over there. The odd thing about today's Intel roadmap drama is that it's not exactly news. I don't recall there ever being any Intel Rambus chipsets on the map after the 850, except maybe some Foster thing, and Craig Barrett's comments must be a week old now. It's true enough that we droids must appear cultish at times to outsiders too, but overall, I'd say the AMD crowd maintains a fairly cheery disposition in the face of adversity, especially relative to the bus people. Of course, it helps that the fundamentals look pretty good going forward, regardless of where the stock sits. Cheers, Dan.
