until this morning I had never lurked on the RMBS thread. I am glad I did. Reading the posts of the RMBS diehards there really teaches me a lesson that I believe will serve me well. I have always known that it is possible to become enamored with a particular stock to the point of crusading for it, and losing objectivity ...I have occasionally feared just that wrt AMD, so lurking there drives the point home and possibly hardens me from falling further prey to this peril. Al, I know...their obsession has blinded them to the potential pitfalls that go with the RMBS stock. If nothing else, its horrendous volatility is a warning. ted
