The Utilities have been in their own Bull Market for the entire year. Because of deregulation this undervalued sector became a growth story and was a great place for money, momentum and Growth.

It's possible that the old relationship between bonds and utilities doesn't apply in the old fashioned manner.

High Energy Costs and bottom lines may be more important today...!

This sector also contains a lot of Telecoms and fiber optic players and not just electric suppliers. Even the mutual funds who once marketed themselves as safe havens for solid returns and yields in bad times don't exist any more. They've all turned to and own Telecom's. I believe there might be One Mutual Left and a couple of closed end funds that are still pure electric utility generation funds.
Duff and Phelps (DNP) is one.

So I'll be looking for the parabolic nature of this chart and sector to be nailed over the next few weeks just like everything else.

Anyway..., that's what the chart suggests to me...?
What it means for the rest of the market is unclear..?
