News Release
Ms. Christina Meeuwsen reports
A cash distribution in the amount of 75 cents per unit will be payable on Nov. 20,
2000, to all unitholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 10, 2000. This
distribution comprises a supplemental adjustment of 45 cents per unit in addition
to the monthly cash distribution amount of 30 cents per unit based upon funds flow
received during the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2000.
Total cash distributions for the quarter equal $1.35 per unit, comprised three
monthly base distributions of 30 cents per unit and the supplemental payment of
45 cents per unit. This supplemental adjustment represents a 246-per-cent
increase over the supplemental adjustment paid at the end of the second quarter.
In addition, approximately six cents of funds flow was applied to reduce the fund's
outstanding bank debt during the quarter.
Enerplus Resources Fund's new trailing 12-month distributions paid totals $4.48
per unit.
