Scumbria, Apologies for not responding sooner. My system crashed hard on Friday AM (wiped out most of my C drive), and I've just gotten it working again. What a pain in the behind! Now I'm catching up on 400+ Rambus messages. Do you still think that Carl is lying about DDR and DRDRAM? Two answers: a) Carl was the one who called himself a liar first. I never said he was lying about DDR and DRDRAM, I agreed with him that he was lying about some random rumor he created. Knowing now what he is, I won't trust anything he says. But luckily he's mostly posting news now. As long as he sticks to that, there's nothing to argue about. b) You and Carl both seem to have a problem with time-sequenced events. You can't "lie" or "tell the truth" about something that has yet to happen, you can only predict. Sherry wasn't "correct" about her forecast ahead of time. She may be correct by the end of the year; we'll see. Likewise, Carl can't lie about the future of DDR and DRDRAM, he can only predict. Will his predictions come true? At this point, I don't know. But he was never "lying" about something that has yet to happen. I wonder what it is about being anti-Intel that makes this concept difficult to understand? <G> In the meantime, I'm flat again. I lost about 8 or 9 bucks a share on the last buys (bought at 66-67, sold at 58-60, then kicked myself as it went back into the 60s). I'm curious to catch up on the messages and find out the reason for today's drop. Dave
