I've poked around a little and have found several people having problems similar to yours and webshots is probably the culprit. Right click your desktop again and if you have under Active Desktop "view as webpage" checked, click on it to uncheck it. Some people have reported conflicts between the two. Then enable your webshots again and we'll see if that will work instead of getting rid of it. tc
