Joe, From what you can gather, do you think Rambus will make a good buck on Pentium IV? I have yet to make estimates. In 2001, I suspect that Rambus will make most of their money on the Sony Playstations. I think so because Sony will make their money selling the software. In other words, they will push out as many playstations as they can. This is where RDRAM is most needed---graphics. From what little I know. Incidentally, when I found out that Rambus held the patents on DDR, I called Tom Costello. He took my call! I told him not to take my word for it. I told him to have someone call the US Patent Office. He said coldly "I don't hire analysts."
