John, RE: "Thanks for the laugh."

I understand that Intel knows what it is like to be in a competitive environment.

Perhaps Intel has been in a position of leadership so long, management doesn't know how to operate when it looks as if the developers and OEM's and suppliers and consumers and investors aren't able, or willing, to follow wherever Intel leads.

Could it be because developers, OEM's, suppliers, consumers and investors just don't believe everything Intel says anymore?

Intel knows that brands need to be protected. Does Intel know credibility needs to be maintained?

There was a time I believed Intel could see into the future and literally make the future happen according to the Intel plan. Seems as if Intel isn't too sure what the future looks like these days.

Communication is more difficult when there is uncertainty. Intel doesn't seem to know what information they want to share with the world. Maybe they are just so strung out following all their new markets and new ideas, they don't have time to look at the entire landscape. Maybe I have always been a bit dazzled by Intel and followed foolishly?

Looking for confidence inspiring comments if you have any to share. Thanks, dmf
