There is little doubt in my mind that Bush will not attempt to simplify the tax code and make it more fair to all Americans. I do not believe for a second he will try to use it to punish any group but will try to make it fair to every person or corporation. And, I believe he will make fairness his flagship consideration. And, to campaign reform. What the democrats are proposing is not fair. It is a sham. They don't want to bring labor union money under the reform, for instance. The labor unions spend about as much money as any source so if they are not included you don't have reform. I believe if you talk reform it either has to be all inclusive or it won't work.
