They are courting the religious because they want to win. I don't mind that. It's hypocritical- but Bush acting like a Southern Baptist is hypocritical too. They are all hypocritical. But the liberals have less of a religious agenda than the conservatives who are lumbered with the religious right. I prefer extreme liberals to extreme conservatives- although I don't really like either extreme end.
