Relating to the MDA thread discussion, I use P&F charting
and agree that a coin toss will look like very much like a
stock chart.

By removing the time element from the chart and applying Xs
(one positive increment) to heads and applying Os (one negative increment)
to tails, it is very easy to chart the coin tosses using standard P&F parameters where the column
change would happen on a reversal of three increments.

I tossed the coin 50 times with the following result:
HTHHTHTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHTHTHTHTTTHHHHHHTTHHTTTTTHTH

The P&F chart would look like this

X
X O
X O
X X O
X X O X O
X O X O X O
X O X O
O X
O X
O X
O X
O X
O

This is the the chart for GE using an increment value of $2 for each box (X or O)>
60.00 || | X | | 60.00
58.00 || | A O |High| 58.00
56.00 || | X O | | 56.00
54.00 || | X X X O |Avg | 54.00
52.00 || |X 4 O 6 O 8 O | | 52.00
50.00 || |X O X O X 7 X O | | 50.00
48.00 || |1 O X O O + + |Low | 48.00
46.00 || |X O X + | | 46.00
44.00 || |C 2 X | | 44.00
42.00 || |B 3 | | 42.00
40.00 || |X | | 40.00
38.00 || |A | | 38.00
36.00 || |9 | | 36.00
34.00 || |8 | | 34.00
32.00 ||X |3 | | 32.00
30.00 ||7 O|C | | 30.00
28.00 ||5 B|X | | 28.00
26.00 ||2 O|X | | 26.00
24.00 ||1 O| | | 24.00
22.00 ||B | | | 22.00
20.00 ||6 | | | 20.0

I certainly see similarities with the charts. But I disagree
as to the idea that a stock chart is meaningless. The tops
of the columns of Xs and the bottoms of the columns of Os
represent important psychological price levels.

Anyway, an interesting exercise.
