Bush Visiting Traditionally Democratic Minnesota WIRE:11/01/2000 05:39:00 ET SEATTLE, Wash. (Reuters) - In an unusual twist to a close presidential race, Republican George W. Bush will campaign in Minnesota on Wednesday -- a state that has not gone Republican in 28 years. Not since Richard Nixon"s 1972 landslide has Minnesota voted Republican in a presidential election. But the polls are close this year and the Bush campaign believes it has a shot at the state"s 10 electoral votes.
