"Is it the technology you have a problem with...or that it's Japanese?"

NTT is using Qualcomm technology and Qualcomm will receive royalties on it. My problem is that NTT wants to use a vastly inferior modified verson of Qualcomm's technology to satisfy NTT's "not made here syndron" and use theri huge cash flows derived from excessively high fees and interconnect fees in Japan to impose this technology on the US and elsewhere. NTT is Japanese government owned company seeking to buy its way into the US and to not compete on a level playing field. I really hate to see foreign governments involved with qwneership of US telecom companies.
