I recognize that most privileged kids, Gore and Bush included, were shown favoritism when it came to VN.
Why do you fail to see that? But we are not talking about WW2 are we?
Why is coming back early, having bodyguards, and being in the rear areas, any worse than missing a few meetings at the National Guard hall.
I think it is sad that the Dems. felt the need to drag out a respected war hero, and try to keep this old story alive, by using him. I think once folks see Gore's own protected record ,it will backfire.(that is IF the news media will act honestly and give equal time)hahaha yeah right.
