Stu-"If Hanaro qualifies for and receives new spectrum for CDMA2000, does that mean that one of the three major carriers that have applied for wCDMA will not get any new spectrum? If so, what impact will that have on that carrier when wireless goes 3G?"

Hanaro's application relates significantly to the recent revelations of major delays in availability of wCDMA technology to NTT DoCoMo. Competition from CDMA2000 3X provider disallows the delay in allocating capital which had been hoped for by the big three. All new dynamics now. (Remember Q's threat to apply? Glad that doesn't have to happen.)
