Got him as a baby. Hell yeah he'd bite, and hang on like a son of a bitch. But, he got better about it with age. It's an animal that you would hit to train. Some animals do well with verbal reprimand, ferrets do well with physical ones. It's a pecking order thing with them. They really are fearless and ferocious. He had this thing about white socks though, and used to attack peoples ankles when they'd hang out at our apartment. He'd also try to climb up the inside of your pants leg. He'd go into anything even remotely tunnel like without hesitation. He had the whole inside of our coach tunneled out to play and hide in. But, put him in a kitten harness and take him for a walk and traffic would come to a stop as people stopped to talk to you about him. He was very cute. They have nasty claws too, as they are strong for digging and killing, not weak like a cats claws. When he grabbed onto you with his claws, you knew you'd been grabbed. I read that ferrets could readily tear the tendons out of your hand with their claws, but he really did like people and didn't tend to get too agressive with them. He liked to get pet too much to want to piss you off.
