The difference this time is that NSM has warned and ADSL chips are suffering. One other factor that I believe is weighing heavily on the stock is the debt offering. It is quite clear from the report that they will be using the proceeds to acquire a company. We all know what happens to the acquiring company's stock price. I am long ADI and view their management as the best in the industry. I intend to hold a small position for a long, long time. I do recognize, however, that in the current market you can definately trade ADI. I would only add that the stock must hold 60 or all hell breaks loose!
