They never did as far as I can tell. The world has always had plenty of criticism for what Intel says...just read these threads.

Not that anyone should follow blindly, but you could pick many worse choices to follow than Intel, IMHO.

regarding confidence inspiring comments...can't say I'm any special authority worth listening to. There are rarely easy comfortable paths in investing. The whole idea is to buy when the majority lacks confidence....takes some fortitude.
