Here's a somewhat interesting political piece with no slant one way or the other. I've often thought cars say a lot about people.

Republican or Democrat? You are what you drive

Given that the two major presidential candidates both seem to be fudging the facts on key issues such as health care and retirement programs, and that the race is still too close to call, “analysts” are turning to other predictors of next week’s election.

Among the more whimsical to pass along, the folks at automotive Web site Kelly Blue Book say an online survey shows Honda Owners support Bush (67.6%) over Gore (32.4%); Volkswagen Owners favor Gore (52.9%) over Bush (47.1%); and Jetta owners most lean toward Gore(75%)over Bush (25%).

Stephen Henson, VP of marketing and business development, says,"We've found that owners of pick-ups large enough to support a gun rack are backing Bush by a four-to-one margin. Meanwhile, owners of the AMC Hummer - apparently a good border patrol vehicle - are solidly behind Pat Buchanan, while the unforgiving contingency of old Chevrolet Corvair owners have not registered a single vote for Ralph Nader."
