You said it! I still don't understand why they all turned their face when it came to CDMA2000:

1) QCOM worked so hard with these companies for so many years in bringing the country to state of the art technology like CDMA

2) QCOM invested big money with Freetel

3) Although in the past years they paid lots of royalties to QCOM, most likely they paid a heck of a lot less had the country gone with GSM

Why are they willing to go away with their current infrastructure that was ready for CDMA2000, pay a higher royalty for WCDMA, and delay the introduction of 3G.

I understand the pressure that they are under with foreign telecom companies but going back to the old????
