Golden Eagle Announces Its ``Health Fair 2000'' in Cangalli, Bolivia

  Business Editors and Health Writers

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2000--Golden Eagle
International, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets:MYNG) announced today that it
successfully staged its "Health Fair 2000" in Cangalli, Bolivia,
between October 27 and 29, 2000.
The Company organized and transported 11 medical doctors, 16
interns and 24 medical students for this year's "Health Fair 2000" in
Cangalli, Bolivia, and provided them with room and board during their
stay.
Golden Eagle, which has been exploring and developing gold
deposits in the Tipuani Gold Mining District for the past 4 years, has
also provided the only clinic and doctor in Cangalli during that same
period. However, "Health Fair 2000" was Golden Eagle's way of
demonstrating a deeper commitment to the health and welfare of its
workers in the area, their families and the community at large.
The doctors, interns and medical students provided free
comprehensive physicals and consultation; ob/gyn consultations;
parasite analysis and control; eye and vision examinations; and the
full range of vaccinations.
In addition, Golden Eagle's workers were given a seminar on
industrial safety and first aid. A special focus of "Health Fair 2000"
was on the children of Cangalli and the surrounding areas. Not only
were they given all of their childhood vaccinations, but they were
also instructed in basic hygiene and preventative measures for
preserving their health. Golden Eagle also donated health-related
instruction materials and posters on the human body to the Cangalli
grade school.
Victor Hugo Bretel, President of Golden Eagle Bolivia Mining,
S.A., the Company's operating subsidiary in Bolivia, was responsible
for organizing "Health Fair 2000" and stated: "Golden Eagle has always
been committed to the health and well-being of the people of Cangalli.
Even though we have known from the beginning that our economic impact
would provide a great benefit to the families of this economically
depressed region of Bolivia, we have also understood that there is no
substitute for good health. "Health Fair 2000" gave us the opportunity
to reach out to the community and show our genuine concern."
