HJ,

That is not a concern for me now, though it will take another several quarters, maybe even six or so, before their management's ability to guide the financial aspects of their business are clearer to me. Things look good for now.

I expect them to end the year with about $46.5M in sales. If they indeed achieve 50% revenue growth over the coming three years, they'll be at about $155M to $160M for FY2003. They will still be a tiny little company, so I won't be surprised to see them place another cash raising round so they can further accelerate capacity expansion. That should depend on the issues below though.

These are my concerns: messages.yahoo.com

Essentially, I wonder whether the semiconductor scrap wafer supply will meet Astropower's production requirements. I also wonder whether they will succeed with their "Silicon Film" technology quickly and cheaply enough to supplant the wafer-based product. There do seem to be other technologies coming down the line, next year or few years, which have the potential to run at slightly higher efficiencies. Whether those technologies will pan out remains to be seen too, of course.

Randy
