Hi Joe Below I have copied a news release from Pam. Interesting enough Bearcat is now up $.06 and STF $.03. I don't think that the news release is so spectacular that it alone would move the price that much. Perhaps good news is leaking out in Calgary. I also note that the primary purpose of the well is stated as proving commercial oil deposits. Stay tuned for further developments!!! Keith Bearcat's 2-34 well commences drilling Bearcat Explorations Ltd BEA Shares issued 65,388,657 2000-10-31 close $0.24 Wednesday Nov 1 2000 News Release Mr. P. de Bruycker reports The 2-34 well commenced drilling operations on Aug. 21, 2000. Some very difficult drilling conditions in the overthrust zone were encountered, but this zone has now been drilled through and the well is drilling in the underlying Regional formation sequence. A very favourable Regional structural position has been determined in the well bore, which is expected to continue down to the Turner Valley reservoir target. The well should reach total depth by Nov. 8, 2000. Appropriate production test operations are scheduled to commence immediately after rig release. The main objective for the drilling of this well is to establish commercial oil production from the Regional Turner Valley reservoir. Bearcat advises shareholders that it considers the current drilling results of the Stampede Turner Valley 2-34-20-3 W5M well to be encouraging.
