Ok Ok Ok I know in advance what the response to this is going to be but I want to share it with you anyway. Take it for what it is worth. First some background on me. I have been invested in Westell for about 4 years, right after the Amati mess. I work for a large telecommunications provider as a technician. I have personally been involved in field trials of HDSL ( pairgain ) equipment. Now what I am going to say is a fact. You are not going to read about it in any news release ( at least I don’t think you will ) but just the same it is happening. Verizon Is currently preparing to deploy WESTELL XDSL solution for the 5ESS. This little discussed product of Westell's was one of the first developed at westell along with the SLC ( Slick ) solution . You may ask how much HOW many etc. etc. ,I don’t know, I do not have that information, and the information I am sharing with you is HEARSAY that’s right HEARSAY , but believe me, I will be able to say, "you heard it here first" .
