of course it will. but why should we care? from my PoV the only important aspect is that gold should eventually rally big as these issues resolve themselves. whether that effectively bankrupts some of the players or if they get bailed out by US tax payers doesn't bother me in the least bit.

that's something Americans should worry about. and you'll see, the Greenspud pledge that no-one's 'too big to fail' will be forgotten in a nano second when a big player actually hits the skids.
