Jim, Beam me up! You have a great imagination. Don't you understand that it doesn't matter what kind of memory Intel uses... RAMBUS gets a piece of the action. Better for RAMBUS that Intel uses DDR or SDRAM. It's only a matter of time before the others cave in. When RAMBUS found their new pot of gold, when they got their patents, that changed the game for Intel. Up to that point everything was going to be Intel's way. After the patents Rambus said the rules have changed and now we want a piece of everybody's action, including Intel's. Being ticked off with Rambus, Intel has attempted to do everything in their power to work a better deal for themselves without success. So what do they do? They gather the troops together to form their own game plan against RAMBUS telling the DRAM makers we'll bring RAMBUS to their knees. But RAMBUS says, "BRING IT ON!" We will prevail in court. And in the end all shall bow to the mighty RAMBUS! JMHO of course!<g>
