Over 2 million sold Durons and no one ever noticed it? If there's a bug it's either a known one (like AGP issues with Win2k) or a very minor one. That VIA chipsets (also for P3) have their "issues" is nothing new...

But that Mustang plan does make sense if AMD didn't find customers willing to sell workstations or servers with the CPU. Palomino (with 512kb 2nd level cache?) would still be a very good solution, especially in a dual configuration.
