Hey Slim,

I'm not sure about their retention of senior management of acquired companies, but their overall retention has been exceptionally high.

A "design win" is when a customer selects a PMCS product for inclusion into one of their own products. So, say a company like Juniper Networks or Cisco Systems is designing a router, they evaluate numerous chips from various semi-conductor companies and they choose the ones that help them best meet their design goals. Most often PMCS will have quite a number of chips that win the socket on such a router, and each socket populated with a PMCS chip would be considered a design win. Unless the company decides to come up with a new design for that router, as long as it's selling them, it's buying those PMCS chips to build it with.

To see the amount of PMCS chips in a networking company's products, you might have to go to an industry trade show though as they don't necessarily want their competitors knowing everything that goes into one of their products. Of course, just like the automobile industry, the competitor will often buy the product and take it apart to evaluate it but that's often too late to make a difference.
