As I've said on many occasions, this is so obvious and so repulsive that it really should be stopped. It
would be easy enough. The SEC would simply have to go to the big firms (or other Rembrandt
wannabes) and subpoena their trading records for the last couple days of the month. Isn't it about time
that got done?

Lest you think that it doesn't go on, I know that it does because I have an impeccable source who has
talked to people who admit they have handled orders for just such things. It's a fact, it's an open secret
and it ought to be stopped because it has gone on far too long. It weakens the integrity of the
marketplace, which has already been weakened by a host of other abuses.
