Unfortunately, it doesn't matter whether or not Sagawa is right or not. Nor that many industry insiders consider him a hack and his research -- ahem -- lacking. All that matters is that Sagawa and some hedge fund managers like Cramer have been able to use his report as currency to convince lazy portfolio managers to sell for fear they'd be left holding the bag. Indeed, those fund managers are really the only audience that matters. But I suspect many of them will be back soon enough. ;)
