Reason i ask is I saw a news story in one of our papers up here that says Oregon;s latest poll had Bush leading in that state - one of the traditionally most liberal Democrat states around.. yet Gore had opened up a lead in Florida - home to all those cuban emigrants probably still PO'ed at the democrats for how they handled the Elian Gonzales situation, and governed by George W's brother Jeb. what the heck is going on down there? ;) Scott, Like Ptanner said, Nader/the Greens are taking votes away from Gore in both OR and WA. In fact here in Seattle some people are wearing t-shirts saying "A vote for Nader is a vote for G. Bush". Nader has a lot of support due to his environmental stance. OR and WA now are pivotal states. ted
