It is entirely possible that the price cuts have much more to do with a higher-than-expected ramp-up of Pentium 4 than with AMD. Not that competitive pressure from AMD isn't a factor, but that the pressure wasn't necessarily the biggest factor.

Does that mean that Intel has sufficient RDRAM to meet the higher than expected ramp-up of the P4?

BTW how come you didn't agree with me when I pointed out the same thing that Quasar did....the greater latitude/leeway that Intel has in the markets? <g> Did it sound better from Quasar?
