In the March 1997 issue of Modern Plastics, a copy of witch came with the Lenox Leaf. DD stated that Xylon polyols are "extremely hydrophobic" (not capable of uniting with or absorbing water).

If Xylon can be mixed with conventional polyols, as it stated in this article, then the old money timber market can make the conversion slowly.
